The Philadelphia Eagles lost two proven and beloved leaders.
Jason Kelce and Fletcher Cox retiring will leave a big void in the locker room, not to mention on the field.
The future Hall of Famer center anchored one of the best — if not the best — offensive lines in the game.
More than that, he could’ve had the chance to play alongside Saquon Barkley, who was recently signed by his former team.
Considering that, Kelce recently admitted that everybody’s urging him to come back from retirement to make sure to give Barkley a helping hand.
Talking on his New Heights podcast, Jason Kelce raved about this acquisition and even admitted that he actually wishes he could be a part of that team and play with Barkley.
“Social media has been nonstop, saying Jason are you sure you wanna retire?” Kelce said.

Even so, he added that he’s pretty sure about his decision to retire.
Truth be told, Kelce could be a part of that team if he decided to do so; the organization would welcome him with open arms.
But it’s not like he didn’t know this was a realistic possibility when he decided to walk away from the game, and he took plenty of time to sit on this decision before making his announcement.
The Eagles will have a tough time finding someone like Jason Kelce to anchor that offensive line.
But they’ve now given Barkley the absolute best supporting cast he’s ever had in his career, so they should be just fine in that regard.
