With the official start of NFL free agency just around the corner, multiple players could be on the move.
Notably, WR Calvin Ridley is perhaps the biggest name in free agency right now, and there should be no shortage of teams lining up to get him.
Considering that, NFL insider Jonathan Jones reports that the New England Patriots and Jacksonville Jaguars are currently the biggest players lining up to acquire his services.
He adds that he’s expected to sign with the Jaguars if they can match or beat what the Patriots have to offer, obviously taking taxes and cost of living into consideration as well.
With 4 hours before the officially start of the new league year, Calvin Ridley remains the top free-agent WR. With offers from the Patriots and Jaguars, current sense is Ridley will sign back w/ Jags on deal that would equal or best Pats’ when considering taxes & cost of living

The Kansas City Chiefs were also rumored to be in the mix for the Alabama product, especially after QB Patrick Mahomes restructured his contract to free up north of $20 million in salary cap space for them.
Multiple teams could use a helping hand at wide receiver, and the Jaguars have already landed Gabe Davis from the Buffalo Bills.
Even so, at least a half a dozen teams should’ve reached out to Ridley to try and lure him away from the swamp, but it seems like he’s going to stay put in Florida for the foreseeable future.
