The Chicago Bears finished the 2023 season with a 7-10 record, missing the playoffs for the third straight season.
After their less-than-ideal season, the Bears have been a commonly-discussed team throughout the offseason.
Many fans and analysts have been studying the Bears’ moves, trying to predict how the team will fare in 2024.
While the Bears have already made several acquisitions, their trade for Keenan Allen seemed to put them over the top, at least in analyst Bryant McFadden’s mind.
In a recent segment shared by the NFL on CBS, McFadden said, “I don’t know if there’s another team that has had a better offseason than the Chicago Bears.”

McFadden loved the Bears’ move to acquire Allen and believed they were making the right moves to set themselves up for success.
Of course, the Bears hold the No. 1 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, which many believe will be used to take Caleb Williams, effectively starting over at the quarterback position.
Adding Allen to complement D.J. Moore should help the Bears’ quarterback in 2024, whether it be Williams, Justin Fields, or another unnamed option.
Many analysts have been under the impression that the team will trade Fields to make room for their new QB, but to this point, the Bears haven’t seemed eager to move him.
This could be an interesting dynamic within the team and fanbase, especially if the team waits until after the draft to make a decision on Fields.
Either way, this potential scenario has been a great talking point throughout the offseason and will continue until there is more clarity.
