The Houston Texans were the most improved team in the league last season.
Of course, plenty of that had to do with the fact that they absolutely struck gold in the NFL Draft, landing Will Anderson Jr. and C.J. Stroud.
Both rookies had stellar campaigns and made an immediate impact.
Nonetheless, HC DeMeco Ryans was also instrumental in this team turning things around.
Not only was he able to instill a winning culture overnight, but he also made the team buy in on his project, with GM Nick Caserio also doing a great job to build their roster.
Now, they’ve doubled down on it by acquiring veterans like Danielle Hunter, Denico Autry, Azeez Al-Shaair, and Joe Mixon to a team that already looked scary.
Considering that, NFL insider Ari Meirov sat down via The 33rd Team to discuss how much this team had improved in the offseason.
“The Houston Texans are getting really dangerous,” he said.

He praised Ryans for the culture change he has brought to Houston.
He also thinks the team is well aware of the fact that they need to make the most of Stroud’s rookie deal by adding more and more talent around him, as they won’t have to spend that much money on him.
The Texans shocked the world by making the playoffs last season, and they even made a statement by dominating the Cleveland Browns at home.
They currently look like the best team in the AFC South, which seemed like a crazy thought just two seasons ago.
Now, it’s all about taking the next step.
