The Cincinnati Bengals are in a tough spot with Tee Higgins.
The star wide receiver is angry and disappointed at the fact that the team didn’t reach out to him to secure a long-term contract extension.
They placed him under the franchise tag and moved on, and he now wants to be traded because of that.
Nonetheless, reports also state that he loves the team, the city, and the fan base, but he’s just ready to move on.
With that in mind, Higgins took to Twitter to express his love for the fans, who have been all over his mentions, to try and convince him to stay.
“Man I love yall,” he tweeted.

Higgins is one of the most underrated young wide receivers in the game, and it wouldn’t be shocking to see multiple teams lining up to get him.
The Bengals have cleared a lot of cap space lately, but they know they might still not be able to afford to keep him.
They already have Joe Burrow signed to a massive contract, and they’re aware of the fact that they’re also going to have to break the bank to give WR Ja’Marr Chase a record-breaking contract extension of his own.
That makes Higgins the odd man out in Cincinnati.
And while they don’t necessarily have to comply with his request to be traded, having a disgruntled player in the locker room has rarely helped any team.
Now, it might not be a matter of if he’ll be traded but when that’s going to happen and who’s going to land him.
