The NFL offseason is in full force, and now that free agency is open, teams across the league are frantically working to make the best possible moves.
Some teams have been more active than others, making for an exciting period of time for fans.
The Jacksonville Jaguars have taken a more conservative approach to free agency, signing just four players to their roster to this point.
However, Ian Rapoport recently highlighted that the Jaguars just signed Joey Slye to a one-year deal.

Slye kicked for the Washington Commanders last season but didn’t perform as well as the team expected.
He had a made field goal percentage of 79.2%, which was the 34th-best in the league.
Slye also only made 91.4% of his extra points, the 31st-best mark in the NFL.
He did demonstrate his big leg throughout the season, as his 61-yard field goal was the second-longest in the league last season.
While Slye’s kicking numbers weren’t as elite as he might have hoped, sometimes, it just takes a scenery change for players to improve.
Some cultural issues with the Washington Commanders have been noted, which could have contributed to some of Slye’s misses throughout the year.
Hopefully, the Jaguars are a better fit for him, and he can get back to being a great kicker.
The Jaguars are an up-and-coming young team led by Trevor Lawrence, who continues to be one of the best young quarterbacks in the league.
Will they be able to compete in 2024 with their latest additions in mind?
