The New York Yankees have been under a lot of heat in recent days because of the way they communicate and manage injuries.
Star player and captain Aaron Judge got hurt last Sunday, March 10, while swinging, and since then, everything has been handled poorly: key information has been omitted and manipulated.
For example, Judge, according to manager Aaron Boone, was supposed to be back playing since Saturday, but he hasn’t returned.
He felt something in his abdomen that day, and ever since, the Yankees have been announcing dates for him to return to batting practice and games, only to scratch them off when he isn’t healthy enough.
Yankees insider Bryan Hoch provided another update on the situation on Monday.
“Aaron Judge participated in outfield drills today. He was listed to hit on-field BP at 11:25am but did not. Today would have been Judge’s 2nd game back in the lineup per Aaron Boone’s original timetable,” Hoch tweeted.

Judge is healthy enough to move around in the outfield.
However, hitting still appears to be a challenge for the 2022 AL MVP.
He obviously won’t return to play if he can’t hit.
Still, Judge told the media last week that he is a sure thing to be ready for Opening Day on March 28, and that he would be playing if it were a regular-season game.
It appears the Yankees are just proceeding with an abundance of caution, but the fact he hasn’t been able to resume hitting has to be at least a little concerning for fans.
