The Indianapolis Colts are coming off a surprising 9-8 season that saw them fall just short of the playoffs, and the team has a lot to look forward to in 2024, namely the return of stud 2023 No. 4 pick Anthony Richardson at quarterback.
Richardson missed almost all of the 2023 season after electrifying the NFL in only four starts, two of which he left early with injuries.
His recovery from shoulder surgery is going well, but Pat McAfee spoke highly of Richardson’s character instead on his show today, noting a social media post where Richardson pulled over to the side of the highway to help a man whose truck broke down.

Richardson’s on-field ability was on full display in his short time on the field last season, but the more fans get to know about him as a person, the more he fits the mold as a franchise quarterback.
The motorist said that his truck blew out a tire on I-65 and the only person who pulled over to help him was the Colts QB.
“I guess I’m a Colts fan now,” said the man.
McAfee also mentioned how Richardson notably stayed behind at a rookie camp and helped clean up with the crew afterward.
These kinds of acts don’t go unnoticed, and it’s clear Richardson doesn’t do it for clout, he just does it because he’s a good person.
This was a dangerous thing to do, but an admirable move for the 21-year-old.
Hopefully he didn’t use his surgically-repaired shoulder to help jack up this man’s car, because he has a lot of work to do on the field next season.
