The Dallas Cowboys have had a quiet offseason, which few expected after their devastating loss to the Packers in the playoffs.
They were the last team to sign a free agent and have let a few pillars leave, such as Tyron Smith, Tony Pollard, and Dorance Armstrong, and according to one analyst, there’s one more big name they should show the door to.
Dan Orlovsky went on First Take today and said that it’s time to move on from Dak Prescott, claiming “there are going to be Super Bowl expectations without Super Bowl support.”

Orlovsky said he would have “blown the whole thing up” after the Packers loss, which feels like a justified take given how bad that playoff loss was and how consistently this regime has fallen short in the postseason.
He also noted this team can’t replace the talent it has lost in free agency because of Dak’s contract.
Prescott is heading into the final year of the 4-year, $160 million contract he signed in 2021 and got a public endorsement from owner Jerry Jones at the beginning of the offseason, as did head coach Mike McCarthy who is also in a contract year.
Dak is coming off perhaps his best season after throwing for a career-high 36 touchdowns and completing 69.5 percent of his passes.
However, the playoffs were a letdown once again, as the Cowboys got smoked 48-32 by the Packers where Prescott threw a pair of picks in the first half, one of which was inside his own 20-yard line, and the other a pick-6.
This might be the last year for Prescott to lead this team to the next level.
