Somehow it always hurts so much more to get insulted by a child as opposed to an adult.
The brutal, straight-faced honesty and unapologetic audacity just make it sting that much more, especially because you know they’re usually right.
New Eagles running back Saquon Barkley has done exactly this, as a video surfaced of Barkley today sharing a story of how he told his daughter they were going to Philly, and she responded “does that mean we’re going to win now?”
First thing Saquon Barkley’s daughter said when he told her he was going to the Eagles:

Just brutal.
Jada Barkley might only be five years old, but even she could tell her dad wasn’t going to be able to get it done behind that offensive line the Giants put together in front of him.
Barkley signed a 3-year, $37.75 million contract with the division rival Eagles at the beginning of free agency and will be leaving one of the league’s worst offensive lines for one of the best.
Barkley is coming off a down year where he posted 962 yards and six touchdowns on the ground while averaging just 3.9 yards per carry, the second time in the past three years he was under 4.0.
D’Andre Swift ran for a career-high 1,049 yards and five touchdowns behind the Eagles O-Line last season.
The year prior, Miles Sanders ran for 1,269 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Those types of numbers should make fans excited about what Barkley is capable of doing in Philly.
Expectations are high because if the Eagles don’t block for him and win games, Jada will be coming for them and she takes no prisoners.
