Marvin Harrison Jr. has been projected as the first non-QB off the board in this April’s NFL Draft for months.
Many believe he is the best player in the draft and the best wide receiver prospect in years, which makes fans wonder why they haven’t seen much of him over the past few weeks.
Former Packers QB and current analyst Kurt Benkert shared in that confusion, as he went to X to post, “no Combine, no Pro Day…what is happening right now.”

Harrison elected to skip Ohio State’s Pro Day today after not working out at the NFL Combine as well, leaving many fans wondering what the reasoning is behind him skipping all these showcases.
The likely reason is that his draft stock is impermeable if he just stays off the field, and if he were to perform at either the Combine or the Pro Day, it could do nothing to help his stock and everything to hurt it.
A slow 40-yard dash or an injury could give pundits enough fodder to start pushing the narrative that Malik Nabers out of LSU or Rome Odunze out of Washington is actually the best receiver in this class.
Harrison also said that he would have participated in the Pro Day if the Arizona Cardinals wanted him to, but the team was fine with him skipping it.
That bit of information is interesting, as the Cardinals have the 4th pick in the draft where Harrison should fall right in their lap after the top three picks get used on quarterbacks, as is to be believed.
