Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud has to be on top of the world after the rookie year he had, where he won Offensive Rookie of the Year, led his team to an AFC South crown, and won a playoff game.
This time of the year, the focus is on the prospects as we head into the NFL Draft, and Stroud decided he wanted to get involved in that action as well.
It’s great to see the star QB remembering where he came from, as Stroud popped in on the Ohio State Pro Day today to cheer on his former Buckeye teammates.

Seven Ohio State prospects suited up for the Pro Day, including tight end Cade Stover, wide receiver Xavier Johnson, offensive lineman Matt Jones, defensive tackle Mike Hall, linebackers Tommy Eichenberg and Steele Chambers, and safety Josh Proctor.
The most notable name missing from that list of prospects is projected top-5 pick Marvin Harrison Jr., who elected to skip the Pro Day likely because he has nothing to gain from it.
Harrison is the consensus-first non-QB off the board in every mock draft and reportedly would have worked out if the Arizona Cardinals wanted him to.
Arizona has the No. 4 pick and is believed to be the most likely destination for the star prospect.
Harrison put up monstrous numbers in 2022 with Stroud throwing to him, as he burst onto the national scene with 77 catches for 1,263 yards and 14 touchdowns.
We’ll see if Stroud can convince his Texans to take any fellow Buckeyes in the draft, though unfortunately a reunion with Harrison seems unlikely.
