The Chicago Bears are one of the biggest winners of the offseason.
They already improved their defense significantly last season, and they had one of the most dominant units late in the campaign.
Offensively, they still left plenty to be desired, but they’ve made sure to address that situation over the past couple of weeks.
On top of revamping their offensive line, they’ve added three prime weapons in RB D’Andre Swift, TE Gerald Everett, and WR Keenan Allen.
They will most likely get Caleb Williams with the No. 1 pick, and they will also have the No. 9 selection in the first round.
That’s why NFL analyst Craig Carton believes they will have a legitimate chance to win the NFC North Division next season.
Talking on The Carton Show, he argued that the only thing that could get in their way of contention is the speed of the NFL game, as some young quarterbacks struggle to make that adjustment in their first year.
“The Chicago Bears have a chance to win the division next year if Caleb Williams figures out the speed of the NFL game,” Carton said.

He stated that some guys like CJ Stroud get a hold of it right away, whereas others, like Peyton Manning, need one season to get their legs under them.
Williams looks like a potential generational talent, but people need to be realistic about the expectations.
Some players need more time to develop, so to claim they’re going to be contenders right away might be a bit of a reach.
Nonetheless, the Bears are doing everything they have to do to be one of the best teams in the league in no time, so there are plenty of reasons to be excited about this team.
