At times throughout the 2023 NFL season, it looked like the Miami Dolphins would be the AFC’s representative in the Super Bowl.
They started the year strong, particularly with their offense, and the defense played well enough to help them win games.
However, as has been the trend for the past few years, the Dolphins started to fall flat at the end of the season and eventually lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in the Wild Card round of the playoffs.
This has caused some fans and analysts to speculate about what is best for this team’s future, especially regarding the quarterback position.
In a recent conversation on “First Things First,” Nick Wright proposed a potential idea.
“If I were the Dolphins, I’d call the Vikings and see what they think of Tua,” Wright said.
Could this be Tua’s last year in Miami?

The Minnesota Vikings moved on from Kirk Cousins in the offseason, allowing him to sign a four-year deal with the Atlanta Falcons.
While this was an excellent decision for Cousins and his family, it left the Vikings without a quarterback.
As Wright indicates, if the Dolphins are not satisfied with Tagovailoa and want to change things up, they might be able to strike up a deal with the Vikings.
The Vikings’ recent trade with the Houston Texans gave them two first-round picks, giving them additional capital to make a move.
Many believe the Vikings will package these picks to move up in the first round, but if the Dolphins make Tagovailoa available, it could majorly shift their attention to a known commodity rather than an unproven rookie.
