The quarterback position is one of the biggest questions surrounding the New York Giants this offseason.
Many fans and analysts have indicated that the team is ready to move on from Daniel Jones, as they believe he hasn’t been the player the team paid him to be.
This question will likely remain unanswered until the NFL Draft unless the team makes a surprising move in the next few weeks.
While fans await quarterback news from the team, the Giants announced the signing of offensive tackle Matt Nelson.

Nelson was undrafted in 2019, but the Detroit Lions scooped him off waivers, and he has been a member of their practice squad and active roster.
While it remains to be seen if Nelson will get any playing time or if he will be a depth piece for the Giants, this signing indicates that the Giants are taking strides to protect their quarterback, no matter who it is.
The team also recently signed Jon Runyan, another offensive tackle, to add to the mix.
The Giants took a step back in 2023 compared to the success they found in 2022, and they are looking to find ways to get back to that place.
With the NFC East now being one of the most competitive divisions in the NFL, the Giants need to do everything possible to give themselves a chance to compete with the likes of the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles.
Who will end up being the team’s quarterback, and will they be able to bring this team the success they seek?
