The Buffalo Bills have played well over the last few weeks, especially when they were able to crush the division-rival Miami Dolphins last week, which turned a lot of heads.
Unfortunately, the team hasn’t had much luck staying healthy, with the team suffering some major losses on the defensive side of the football.
Ahead of Week 5, the Bills had already lost two-time All-Pro cornerback Tre’Davious White to a torn Achilles, ending his season.
That was a massive blow to the team’s chances of containing opposing offenses for the rest of the season, and now the Bills will have to move forward without All-Pro linebacker Matt Milano, who went down in today’s loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars with a season-ending knee injury, according to Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.
#Bills star LB Matt Milano suffered a fractured leg and is feared to have suffered a season-ending knee injury in today’s loss, sources tell me and @MikeGarafolo. They are checking on the ACL. With the Bills losing two All-Pro players on the defensive side of the football, it remains to be seen what kind of impact it might have on the squad moving forward, especially with the team coming off a stellar performance against the Dolphins.
Unfortunately for Buffalo, the team wasn’t able to get the best of the Jaguars on Sunday in London, as Jacksonville proved to be the better team in Week 5 despite superstar Josh Allen having another solid performance under center.
Even though Allen scored three touchdowns (one rushing) and threw for 359 yards against the Jaguars, it wasn’t enough to get the best of Jacksonville, who came to play in Week 5 after playing well last week against the Atlanta Falcons.
