The Kansas City Chiefs just lost one of their best and most important players.
The Tennessee Titans won the L’Jarius Sneed sweepstakes, acquiring him in return for several draft selections.
With that in mind, star DT Chris Jones took to Twitter to share his emotions about this matter, wishing his former teammate all the best in this new endeavor.

Jones knows a thing or two about market value.
He threatened to hold out last season and even sat out the season opener as he pushed the team to give him a new contract.
The Chiefs managed to keep him around for another season before signing him to a lucrative long-term extension this offseason.
Ironically, that may have put an end to Sneed’s tenure in Missouri.
The Chiefs were in a tough spot, salary cap-wise, and they essentially had to choose.
With Aaron Donald retired, he’s the best defensive tackle in the game, and he proved to be the most essential part of Steve Spagnuolo’s championship-winning defense.
Sneed is also an elite cornerback, and he reportedly wanted to make things work to stay in Kansas City, but the team failed to get him the kind of deal he was looking for.
The team granted him permission to seek a trade, and Brian Callahan’s team wound up getting him.
This will be a massive blow to the Chiefs’ secondary in their pursuit of a three-peat.
But if there’s a team that has proven to be capable of overcoming adversity over and over, that’s Andy Reid’s side.
