The New York Giants are in a precarious position this offseason as they need to figure out what to do about Daniel Jones.
New York signed Jones to a massive four-year contract extension the previous offseason after he led the team to the playoffs but he failed to live up to that deal in 2023.
Jones largely struggled behind a beat-up offensive line, but he didn’t do himself any favors with his inaccuracy and decision-making.
To make things more complicated is the fact that Jones suffered a torn ACL that he’s currently rehabbing from.
Jones is expected to return at some point during the 2024 NFL season, but the franchise has to decide whether or not he’s going to be their quarterback going forward.
Internally, it appears that the Giants are considering moving on from Jones via Jordan Raanan of ESPN.

New York owns the No. 6 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft and there are several quarterback prospects that will be available by the time the team is on the clock.
While the Giants will likely miss out on players like Caleb Williams and Drake Maye, prospects like Jayden Daniels and J.J. McCarthy could be sitting there for them.
How the front office decides to address quarterback will be one of the most interesting subplots leading up to the draft next month.
