The Chicago Bears have never had a star quarterback in franchise history.
Notably, that infamous stretch could and should come to an end pretty soon.
With them in possession of the No. 1 pick, they’re firmly expected to get USC star Caleb Williams.
Williams has drawn comparisons to Patrick Mahomes and is one of the most hyped prospects this game has ever seen.
Nonetheless, he also comes with plenty of concerns.
He’s not used to playing in Chicago’s blistering cold, and his camp’s demands have raised some red flags.
On top of that, he has lost some big games in his career.
Even so, the Bears aren’t worried about that one bit.
Recently, Bears GM Ryan Poles claimed that he got some great feedback from his teammates, stating that they absolutely love him (via Kevin Fishbain).

Williams’ ego has been a subject of discussion for quite a while, but the talent is evident.
Some believe that he could make an impact right away, and the Bears are doing everything in their power to put him in the best situation possible.
They’ve revamped their offensive line, added another legitimate threat in the passing game and running game in Keenan Allen and D’Andre Swift, respectively, and they moved on from Justin Fields to make sure there were no distractions there.
Now, whether they’ll be able to develop him and design their offense around his strengths remains to be seen, as well as how he will deal with the perks and demands of being a franchise quarterback.
