As usual, the quarterback prospects in the upcoming NFL Draft are creating a lot of buzz with a month left before the Chicago Bears are officially on the clock with the No. 1 overall pick.
Although the consensus is that USC superstar quarterback Caleb Williams will be taken with the first pick on April 25, there’s no telling what might happen after that, as a few more quarterbacks could be taken immediately after the former Trojan is off the board.
Many believe that Drake Maye and Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels will be the next two quarterbacks taken after Williams is selected by Chicago, but that could change with J.J. McCarthy making some noise recently.
Along with McCarthy moving up in a lot of mock drafts, Bo Nix out of the University of Oregon has created some buzz, as he let it be known how tough it was to be successful with the Ducks due to constant coaching staff changes during his time with the school.
Former NFL star T.J. Houshmandzadeh believes that Nix is battle-tested, and that will help him on the next level via The Herd with Colin Cowherd.
“That tells you a lot about somebody when constantly your system is changing. … He’ll be well prepared,” Houshmandzadeh said.

As of right now, it remains to be seen where Nix will end up in the draft as there’s a chance he falls to the second round, with Williams, Maye, Daniels, McCarthy, and Michael Penix Jr. potentially all going in the first round.
However, a lot can change over the course of a month leading up to draft day.
