The New York Jets have been one of the most discussed teams in the NFL over the past year.
They have added several pieces during this time period, including Aaron Rodgers.
Rodgers is expected to lead the team to the playoffs this season, breaking their drought of more than a decade.
To best help him accomplish his goals, the front office has done it’s best to surround him with the best possible supporting cast.
One of the players the team added in the offseason was Mike Williams, who is coming off an ACL tear.
Williams is an NFL veteran with lots of experience, which could be valuable to Rodgers in his first full season as the starter.
While it might be exciting that the Jets added Williams, one of the biggest questions for him is his health after the injury.
He recently sat down with Adam Schefter to talk about the upcoming year, where he said, “I will be ready for Week 1 of the season- that’s my goal and it’s looking good.”
Newly-signed Jets WR Mike Williams, who is recovering from a torn ACL, said “I will be ready for Week 1 of the season – that’s my goal and (it’s) looking good.”

Williams is confident that he will be ready for Week 1, a sigh of relief for Jets fans.
They now have several talented receiving options on their roster, including Williams and Garrett Wilson.
Rodgers should have the pick of the litter when it comes to targets in 2024, which will be necessary in a crowded AFC East.
Can he help lead the Jets to a playoff berth, something this organization and it’s fans have been desperately craving for years?
