With most decision-makers in the NFL in attendance, LSU star Jayden Daniels will workout at his college’s Pro Day later in the afternoon.
Daniels is projected to go as high as No. 2, and some think he’s actually the best quarterback in this class.
With that in mind, the young star is focusing on one key aspect during today’s drills.
According to insider Cameron Wolfe of the NFL Network, Daniels is only going to do throw-related drills and nothing else.
The report adds that his camp didn’t schedule any interviews after his Pro Day, so he’s going to be a very busy young man in the days to come.
LSU QB Jayden Daniels will focus on throwing today. Not planning to do other drills, per sources.
Daniels’ team intentionally didn’t set up meetings/dinners until after pro day.

Daniels is a dual-threat quarterback who excelled at extending plays and getting yards with his legs.
He can make big plays while rolling out of the pocket, but he also wants to prove that he has a strong and accurate arm.
On paper, he looks like a tailor-made fit for Kliff Kingsbury’s offense.
The Washington Commanders have been rumored to be interested in Michigan’s JJ McCarthy, but Daniels seems to have a higher upside and could be more NFL-ready at this point in his career.
Should the Commanders pass on the opportunity to get him, then he would most likely land with Jerod Mayo and the New England Patriots.
Needless to say, neither of those situations are ideal for a young quarterback, as they don’t have that many weapons on offense, but he should be able to make an impact right away nonetheless.
