LSU’s Pro Day is today, and there will be a ton of attention on two of the draft’s top prospects, Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Jayden Daniels, and star wide receiver Malik Nabers.
Pro Days at big programs always bring out a large contingent of coaches and front-office executives across the NFL, but LSU’s will have just about everybody in attendance.
According to NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe, all 32 teams will be represented at LSU’s Pro Day, including six head coaches – Jerod Mayo of the Patriots, Brian Daboll of the Giants, Antonio Pierce of the Raiders, Matt Eberflus of the Bears, Dennis Allen of the Saints, and Dan Quinn of the Commanders.

It’s not a coincidence that all six of those coaches have first-round picks in the top 15, with four of them being in the top six and desperately in need of a quarterback.
Daniels and Nabers have popped up all over the top 10 in various mock drafts, and it’s a safe bet that both will be off the board in the top 5 as many analysts are now starting to favor Nabers over consensus top WR prospect Marvin Harrison Jr.
LSU has plenty of other prospects putting on a show in the Pro Day, so while these coaches could be scouting for later rounds as well, head coaches show up to look at the big guns.
J.J. McCarthy out of Michigan opened a lot of eyes at his Pro Day recently, so there will be pressure on Daniels to show off to help solidify his status as the potential No. 2 overall pick.
