For 14 seasons, Jimmy Graham has been a very solid tight end, but it looks like his career is starting to wind down.
He caught just six passes for 39 yards during the 2023 season, which has led to speculation that he would perhaps retire this offseason.
He took to Instagram to write a lengthy post, and while he didn’t actually say he’s retiring, many felt it was tantamount to calling it quits, per Luke Johnson.
Jimmy Graham posted a long message to New Orleans and the Saints fan base on his Instagram account. He ends it shy of saying he’s retiring, saying he’s “unsure of what the future holds” … but it felt like a retirement post. pic.twitter.com/vaKLXo9P1G

Graham started his NFL career with the New Orleans Saints in 2010 after they had taken him in the third round of that year’s draft.
After a quiet rookie year, he blossomed in 2011 with 99 catches for 1,310 yards and 11 touchdowns, which earned him a trip to the Pro Bowl.
He maximized playing with surefire Hall of Fame quarterback Drew Brees by being named to the Pro Bowl in 2013 and 2014 before he was traded to the Seattle Seahawks in the 2015 offseason.
Two more Pro Bowl nods followed in 2016 and 2017 as a member of Russell Wilson and crew, and in 2018, he moved on to the Green Bay Packers, allowing him to play with yet another Hall of Fame-bound QB — Aaron Rodgers.
Graham returned to the Saints for the 2023 campaign after he sat out the 2022 season.
The Saints were being picked by many when last season started to win the NFC South, but despite a strong finish to the schedule, they fell just short of a division title and playoff berth.
They released the oft-injured Michael Thomas, but they have maintained much of their core while adding defensive end Chase Young.
