After losing Tre’Davious White and Dane Jackson to free agency, the Buffalo Bills are in dire need of help at cornerback.
The injuries piled up for White over the past three years, but he had been a mainstay in Buffalo’s secondary for seven years, while Jackson had carved out his own consistent role over the past four years as well.
The Bills are now turning to the draft to start looking for their next corners, and according to Bills writer Ryan Talbot, they have already scheduled a pre-draft meeting with Pittsburgh CB MJ Devonshire, who the team also had an informal meeting with at the NFL Combine.

Devonshire played five years in college (two in Kentucky, three at Pittsburgh), and is coming off his best season where he posted four interceptions and ten pass breakups.
The 5’11”, 190-pound senior is projected to be a Day 3 pick according to most mock drafts, just like Dane Jackson was.
Devonshire had a strong combine performance, posting a 4.45 40-yard dash and a 38.5″ vertical, so the athleticism and the production are there if a team chooses to take a chance on him earlier than projected.
Buffalo has a lot of homework to do, as it has a bevy of draft picks to work with this year.
The Bills have 11 picks in total, including two in the fourth round, three each in rounds five and six, and a seventh.
That’s a ton of draft capital at their disposal to fix their cornerback room, so keep an eye out for Devonshire if you’re a Bills fan.
