The New England Patriots have not been the same since Tom Brady left.
For the two decades of success, many people commended Patriots head coach Bill Belichick for his coaching greatness.
While he does deserve credit, it appears as if Brady might not have been given enough of the credit.
The Patriots have gone 26-29 over the past four seasons.
Those are the four seasons after Brady joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in free agency.
That record may be getting much worse with how the Patriots are trending this season.
Shannon Sharpe went on First Take to discuss how he owes Brady an “apology.”
Sharpe said, “I don’t think I gave him enough credit. Brady is the largest eraser in pro sports because every mistake that Coach Belichick made… Brady could erase it.”

With the way things are headed, this is a lost season for the Patriots.
Also, it seems quite apparent that Mac Jones is not the quarterback of the future.
In 36 career games, Jones has a 17-19 record and has thrown 41 touchdown passes with 30 interceptions.
He lacks athleticism and arm strength, and cannot overcome many of the Patriots’ shortcomings on offense.
The Patriots could end up with a top-10 draft pick in a deep-quarterback class next season and that may be enough for them to move on from Jones.
