The 2024 NFL Draft is less than a month away and teams are knee-deep in preparation for the three-day event.
Much of the coverage revolves around the offensive talent in this year’s class as the quarterback, receiver and offensive tackle positions are as deep as ever.
USC’s Caleb Williams is a near-lock to go No. 1 overall to the Chicago Bears, but players like UNC’s Drake Maye and LSU’s Jayden Daniels could also join him in the top-three.
Meanwhile, the draft also has a solid group of defensive backs that can immediately come in and help a team’s secondary.
One player who seems to be gaining steam among teams is TCU’s Mark Perry who hasn’t garnered much buzz among fans.
However, it seems he’s finally getting the attention he deserves as Justin M of The Draft Network highlighted what makes him an underrated prospect.

With Perry’s combination of speed, strength, and agility he can line up just about anywhere on the field.
Versatility is the name of the game in the modern NFL and having a player like Perry who can play either in the box or in coverage would be a huge boost to any NFL team.
While he might not go in the first round, Perry should hear his name called at some point on Day 2.
NFL teams have begun to trend back to a defense-first mindset and Perry would be a welcomed addition to any roster.
