The Los Angeles Rams have one of the strongest wide receiver rooms in the league led by former Super Bowl MVP Cooper Kupp and rookie standout Puka Nacua, but their depth behind the top two guys includes some of the most reliable backups in the league.
That unit is reportedly getting a little stronger and head coach Sean McVay will have some more reinforcements ready in case Kupp has another injury-plagued season in 2024.
ProFootballTalk is reporting that LA is re-signing veteran receiver Tyler Johnson to join Demarcus Robinson, Tutu Atwell, and Ben Skowronek to round out the receiving corps for the Rams.

The terms of Johnson’s contract are currently unknown, as the Rams still have $15 million in cap space and should have little problem factoring Johnson’s deal into the equation.
Last year was Johnson’s first in LA, and he posted just two catches for eight yards and one touchdown.
Johnson has barely seen the field over the past two years as he has bounced around a few organizations and spent a lot of time on practice squads, which is not the outcome many saw for him after his solid start to his career with the Buccaneers, where he won a Super Bowl as a rookie.
It’s tough to envision a larger role for Johnson on this year’s squad, as the Rams are bringing back their entire wide receiver group and surely Kupp and Nacua will continue to be target monsters.
Hopefully, he at least sees the field more than he did last season.
