The Philadelphia Eagles entered the offseason with a few key positions to fill.
Not only did they have some gaps to fill at the running back position, but the Eagles also are faced with the daunting task of replacing Jason Kelce and Fletcher Cox.
Both Cox and Kelce have been staples of this team for more than a decade, so replacing them is not going to be easy.
While it was certainly tough to see D’Andre Swift leave, the Eagles did what they could to replace his production, adding Saquon Barkley into the fold.
Barkley has played for the Eagles’ division rival, the New York Giants, throughout his career, so he is used to playing against the Eagles.
That might have been the case, but it now appears that he’s more than ready to start his tenure with this team on the right foot.
As Dov Kleiman shared, Barkley shared a recent photo of him and Jalen Hurts, seemingly practicing together and getting back in the best possible shape.

Hurts has been viewed as one of the most improved players in the NFL over the past several seasons, particularly as it pertains to his passing ability.
If he can keep Barkley involved in this offense, the Eagles should be better off as a result, hopefully bringing this team back to the NFC Championship and, perhaps, a Super Bowl.
Barkley was a massive piece of the Giants organization, but with the Eagles making more strides in recent seasons, he might see a clearer path to success with this team.
