The first weekend of the 2024 MLB season is already in the books, and every squad has at least three games played.
Others have four, and the San Diego Padres and the Los Angeles Dodgers have a couple more after their exciting Seoul Series from March 20-21.
There are four teams with no wins to date: the New York Mets, the Miami Marlins, the Houston Astros, and the Chicago White Sox.
On the other hand, four clubs remain undefeated as of Monday afternoon.
You would be surprised by some of them: the New York Yankees, the Detroit Tigers, the Milwaukee Brewers, and the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Yes, the Pirates are part of this elite club.
The Tigers are supposed to be better this year, and their hot start can be partially explained by the level of their opening weekend opposition: the White Sox.
The Brewers swept the Mets and the Yankees did the same with the Astros.
How about those Pirates, huh?
They are no stranger to hot starts: in fact, they were atop the NL Central standings after a few weeks of play in 2023.
This time, however, there is a higher chance they actually contend.
Ke’Bryan Hayes (1.077 OPS) and Oneil Cruz are performing at a high level, and so are Michael A. Taylor, Edward Olivares, Connor Joe, and Bryan Reynolds in the lineup.
Their pitching corps are definitely not perfect, but boasts promising arms such as Mitch Keller, Luis Ortiz, and Jared Jones, who struck out 10 hitters in 5.2 innings in his first MLB start this past weekend.
Perhaps Pittsburgh collapses again later in the year, but they are, at the very least, a fun bunch and a talented, surging team.
