All signs point to the Chicago Bears making the smart move come April 25 and taking USC superstar quarterback Caleb Williams with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, which is something draft experts have projected for quite some time.
Few players have gotten as much hype as Williams, with many comparing his situation to that of Andrew Luck when the Indianapolis Colts selected him with the No. 1 overall pick in 2012.
Along with playing for a franchise that has never been able to get the quarterback position right, Williams will be expected to be a star right out of the gate, but the Bears have made some moves to help him succeed sooner rather than later.
Colin Cowherd of FOX Sports believes that Williams will be able to live up to the hype of being the top pick in the draft and the savior of the Bears, while every other quarterback in the draft will be as good as where they land on April 25, via The Volume.
“Caleb is good enough to overcome, everybody else will be as good as where they land,” Cowherd said.

There’s a lot of intrigue right now when it comes to when and where these talented young quarterbacks will land on draft day, with Drake Maye, Jayden Daniels, J.J. McCarthy, Michael Penix Jr., and Bo Nix expected to be the next players off the board at the position once Chicago brings in Williams.
Only time will tell if any of these players can be game-changers for the new teams, as there’s no telling which will succeed on the professional level.
