The Chicago Bears have only four selections in the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft.
Owning the No. 1 and No. 9 overall selections, however, has fans salivating at the possibility the team could draft two franchise players.
Pro Football Focus’ Sam Monson concocted a scenario for the Bears organization he termed the “perfect first round” for Chicago, selecting two Pac-12 offensive standouts.

With the top selection, USC quarterback Caleb Williams is the presumptive choice for Chicago.
The Bears cemented their need of a quarterback after the team traded former starter Justin Fields to Pittsburgh during the offseason.
Williams was the 2022 Heisman winner after his debut season at USC.
Adding Washington wide receiver Rome Odunze to the Bears’ lineup would give Williams another weapon to start his career.
Odunze was a 2023 Heisman finalist after he caught 92 passes for 1,640 yards in Washington’s amazing season.
Monson added that Chicago fans who feel the offensive line – and not the skill positions – are in need of an overhaul are short-sighted.
The Bears earned the No. 9 selection this year following their 7-10 finish in 2023.
It’s the fifth consecutive year the NFL franchise finished .500 or worse.
Chicago obtained the No. 1 overall pick from the Carolina Panthers one year ago, dealing away their No. 1 selection in 2023.
D.J. Moore and multiple future draft picks were also part of the compensation the Bears received for parting with last year’s top draft selection.
