It’s the dawn of a new era for the Atlanta Falcons.
Kirk Cousins is ready to showcase his skills in Georgia, and it shows.
The team recently shared a picture of their new quarterback arriving at the facilities, and he looked quite happy to be there.

Cousins was having the best season of his career before suffering a major injury.
That should be a bit of a concern going forward, especially given his age.
Then again, he’s never been particularly mobile, so he should be just fine for as long as his offensive line gives him some time and room to operate.
The Falcons have plenty of talent on offense, but they failed to use them to the best of their abilities.
Bijan Robinson, Drake London, and Kyle Pitts all have All-Pro potential, and having a capable quarterback could finally set the table for a breakout season.
Cousins is once again going to be one of the highest-paid quarterbacks in the game, and that comes with plenty of responsibility.
The Falcons know this might not be a long-term move, as he’s 35 years old already, so they want to compete right away.
They should be a strong player in the NFC South Division, and they could be in a prime position to end the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ recent supremacy.
Signing aging players always comes with plenty of risk, but the Falcons have been knocking on the door for quite a while now, and they should be much better now that they finally have a franchise-caliber quarterback.
