The Houston Texans are officially going all-in.
There was a lot of talk about how they needed to give C.J. Stroud more weapons in the passing game, and they’ve delivered.
As revealed by Adam Schefter of ESPN, they’ve agreed to trade for Buffalo Bills star WR Stefon Diggs.

The Texans know that it’s just a matter of time before they have to spend big bucks on Stroud and Will Anderson Jr., so it only makes sense that they spend money somewhere else while they still can.
It didn’t take long before DeMeco Ryans made an impact in Houston, and they actually went toe-to-toe with the Baltimore Ravens in their loss in the AFC Divisional Round.
This team could be quite special, and adding a four-time Pro Bowler to the mix should do wonders for Stroud’s development.
Granted, Diggs is coming off a down year, and he does come with plenty of well-documented character issues, and that’s something to keep an eye on.
Then again, Ryans is a former player himself, so he should know how to approach him and connect with him to make sure everybody’s on the same page.
Even if he’s not the same All-Pro-caliber player he used to be in his heyday, he’s going to give Stroud a reliable pair of hands opposite Tank Dell, and that’s going to do wonders for this team.
Add a revamped running game with Joe Mixon to the mix, and this team is looking scary right now.
