Nick Wright has had enough.
On “First Things First” Wednesday, Wright told fans and fellow pundits that the Buffalo Bills are still a contending team as long as Josh Allen is their quarterback.
“If you are on the record … saying that Josh Allen is THAT guy, then they (the Bills) are still contenders,” Wright told viewers Wednesday.
“If you are on the record saying Josh Allen is THAT guy, then the Bills are still contenders. You’re not allowed to be out now.”

The outburst was prompted after Buffalo traded Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans.
He added that Allen was “superhuman” in his performance, a line that both fellow panelists Chris Broussard and Kevin Wildes seemingly agreed with on the show.
Wright added that the Bills had a lackluster lineup of wide receivers even before the Diggs trade.
The TV personality compared Allen to Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, questioning if the three-time Super Bowl champion would still be on a contending team without his best receiver.
Wright noted that Mahomes had done so this season, throwing passes to a “guy that the Jets didn’t want anymore” to further his point.
Broussard then questioned who would say that Mahomes and Allen are on the same level after Kansas City won its third Super Bowl this season.
Wright said that his point was not about whether they were equal, but rather with the hypocrisy of media types comparing Allen to Mahomes.
Before the Bills and Chiefs faced off in the AFC playoffs this January, Wright said that comparisons between the two teams showed Allen was given better marks than Mahomes prior to their matchup by some analysts.
“So I’m saying, if you are one of those people, you are not allowed to say the Bills are out,” Wright concluded.
