The Houston Texans were one of the most surprising teams in the NFL last season.
Not only did they put together a winning record, but they ended up winning the AFC South, guaranteeing them a spot in the playoffs.
They might have lost in the Wild Card round, but the fact that they made it to the playoffs indicates the trajectory this team is moving toward.
Now that the Texans have acquired Stefon Diggs from the Buffalo Bills, they have added another piece to aid in C.J. Stroud’s growth and development.
Willie Colon took this analysis a step further, saying, “The Texans are in win-now mode” on The Carton Show.

By adding Diggs and Joe Mixon to the offense during the offseason, the Texans indicated that they aren’t messing around.
They will seemingly do anything possible to make a deep run in the playoffs this year, evidenced by trading for a player like Diggs.
Diggs might have a history of getting frustrated with the teams he plays for, but for the time being, the Texans can’t think about that.
Their primary focus will be getting Diggs and the rest of their new roster pieces acclimated to their system, hoping they can be integrated quickly.
The quicker this team gets on the same page, the better, especially with a second-year quarterback leading the charge.
Stroud demonstrated that he’s ready to take the next step as an NFL quarterback, and he now has more tools at his disposal to make that leap in year two.
