The Buffalo Bills solved one problem, but they might have another on their hands.
Granted, Stefon Diggs didn’t seem to be on the same page with HC Sean McDermott, QB Josh Allen, or the organization as a whole.
He looked disgruntled on and off the field, and he even yelled at Allen on the sidelines multiple times.
When questioned about that, he stated that he was a competitor and would never be okay with losing, which is valid, but his delivery didn’t always come as expected.
So, it only made sense that the Bills would want to move on from him, even though they would have to take on a lot of dead money.
Unfortunately, they’re not in a position to replace him right now.
As pointed out by NFL insider Adam Schefter, they simply cannot afford to trade for or sign another big-money wideout.
“For the people saying, ‘Well, Buffalo should go out now and trade for a wide receiver. Sign a high-priced wide receiver,’ they can’t afford to do it.”

Talking on ESPN’s “Get Up,” Schefter explained that the Bills will have to find a cheap solution for their new lack of depth at the wide receiver position.
As volatile and complicated as he was, Diggs was also a four-time Pro Bowler who demanded plenty of defensive attention.
He was coming off a down year, and some think he might not have that much left in the tank, but the Bills have pretty much nothing to replace him.
To make things even worse, they also lost Gabe Davis to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
For now, it seems like Dalton Kincaid is going to be in for a massive workload next season.
