The Denver Broncos are heading in a different direction for the storied NFL franchise, with the team having cut their losses and moved on from veteran quarterback Russell Wilson after two disappointing seasons in the Mile High City.
With Wilson being released and ultimately signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers to get a fresh start in the league, the Broncos are in an interesting situation as they need to make a decision on what to do with the quarterback position, starting with whether they believe Jarrett Stidham is the real deal under center.
At this point in time, Sean Payton and company seem content with moving forward with Stidham as their starting quarterback, which might not be a bad idea considering he has shown some promise that he can be a solid option as a starter in the NFL.
However, the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft has quite a few talented young quarterbacks who are making the jump to the professional level this year, and the Broncos currently own the No. 12 overall pick, meaning they might be able to get their hands on one of these rookies.
One quarterback the Broncos might be able to draft at No. 12 or potentially further down the line in the draft is Bo Nix out of the University of Oregon, who would love a chance to play for Denver via Robert Griffin III.
Bo Nix would absolutely love to play for the Denver Broncos and Sean Payton,
“He’s known a lot for what he and Drew Brees did together. It was quick game, get the ball out, timing stuff that I Love to do. That’s what we did so great here at Oregon.”

As of right now, the Broncos haven’t given any strong indications on whether they’ll seriously consider drafting a quarterback on April 25, as Payton has been somewhat tight-lipped about the team’s intentions.
However, it isn’t out of the realm of possibility that Denver does go with a quarterback, but it remains to be seen if Nix is high on their draft board.
