It’s that time of the NFL year.
With most of the top guys already locked in, NFL scouts are digging deep to find the best value and the overlooked players who might turn out to be stars.
With that in mind, NFL analyst Greg Cosell raved about Georgia OT Amarius Mims.
“The most fascinating guy is Amarius Mims,” Cosell said.

He raved about his strong build and long arms and the way he can control the edge with his power, adding that he doesn’t look as big as he really is.
Mims can cover a lot of ground with his long wingspan, and at 6-foot-7, 340 pounds, he could be a dominant physical force.
Granted, Cosell admits that he’s also intriguing because he only made eight starts in college, adding that he was hurt a lot, which obviously takes a toll on his overall outlook.
On top of that, he’s not exactly a finished product by any means, and it might take some time before a team can bring the best out of him.
Even so, those concerns aside, Cosell believes he has the potential to be a difference-maker at the next level.
Mims only played 682 snaps over the past couple of seasons and 775 snaps overall.
He excelled when it came to keeping the pressure away and was elite in pass-blocking, even in a small sample size, and it’ll be interesting to see who takes a chance on him.
