There are several wide receivers in the 2024 NFL Draft that have the potential to become No. 1 options for an offense.
Ohio State’s Marvin Harrison Jr. is widely considered to be the best wideout prospect in years, and for good reason given his collegiate production and pedigree.
Meanwhile, Washington’s Rome Odunze is making a case to be the No. 2 wideout behind Harrison after helping the Huskies advance all the way to the championship game after a dominant 2023 season.
However, there’s also LSU’s Malik Nabers, who some consider to be just as talented as Harrison.
Nabers is the premier deep threat in the draft after the season he had with the Tigers and is expected to go in the top-10.
A recent report came out about Nabers’ off-field behavior, via Tony Pauline, though fans weren’t buying it.
“There are off-the-field questions Nabers has had to answer to during the draft process, and teams must feel comfortable with those answers if they’re going to invest an early draft pick and millions of dollars in his services,” Pauline reported via Dov Kleiman.
LSU WR Malik Nabers has been called a “high maintenance” prospect who could struggle in a big city, per @TonyPauline

Yah yah yah. They did the same thing last year with Carter. He went lower than expected, and the Eagles got a steal.

This is the first such report that mentions any sort of issue with Nabers’ personality and fans are deducing that a team is leaking this information in hopes that he falls.
Nabers is a special talent and would be the first receiver off the board in almost any other draft if it weren’t for Harrison.
With his blend of speed and route running, Nabers’ player profile strongly resembles fellow LSU alumni Ja’Marr Chase and it’ll be interesting to see if this report affects where he gets drafted.
