After flaming out of the NFL playoffs in epic fashion by losing to Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers in the first round at AT&T Stadium, the Dallas Cowboys headed into the NFL offseason with a lot of questions that needed to be answered.
With Cowboys leadership letting it be known that head coach Mike McCarthy would be retained for the 2024 NFL season and that the team is working on signing star quarterback Dak Prescott to a lucrative long-term deal, Dallas has a few more things to take care of or at least consider, like the futures of star linebacker Micah Parsons and wide receiver CeeDee Lamb.
As some rumors have begun to swirl about Parsons and Lamb, the star wide receiver made it clear on camera that he’s not going anywhere anytime soon, as he plans to play for the Cowboys during the 2024 NFL season, via TMZ Sports.
“Yeah, I’ll be in Dallas!” he said.

Even though the Dallas front office has gotten a lot of grief during the NFL offseason for not making moves, the team has to figure out what the future holds for the best players on their squad, with Prescott, Lamb, and Parsons needing to be taken care of financially.
An argument could be made that Parsons and Lamb are in the conversation for being the best player at their respective positions in the NFL, which will make things difficult to sign them all to lucrative long-term extensions as they’ll want to get paid as elite players at their positions.
It’ll be interesting to see what happens in Dallas moving forward, with Jerry Jones and company having a lot of work to do.
