The NFL offseason has been a whirlwind for the Minnesota Vikings.
Fans knew Losing Kirk Cousins was a possibility, but when the time came for his departure, it was clear that they weren’t ready for him to go.
The team now hangs in limbo at the quarterback position, but they have also recently lost another impactful player from their 2023 roster.
K.J. Osborn was a solid role player for the Vikings’ receiving room, but he has since moved on to the New England Patriots.
While Osborn might be excited about his new team, it is clear that he will miss his time with the Vikings as well.
He posted a video highlighting his career with the Vikings, calling it “A Dream Come True” on Twitter.

Osborn might not have provided a Justin Jefferson-level impact on the field, but he was an important part of this roster.
As the Vikings move forward at quarterback to replace Cousins, they’ll also have to find someone to fill Osborn’s shoes.
The 2024 NFL Draft is filled with great prospects at the position, but the Vikings will need to figure out what round makes sense for them to take a receiver if this is the direction they go.
The upcoming season could be a rebuilding year for the Vikings.
Adding a new quarterback and other pieces to an offense can take time, and while the coaching staff is viewed favorably, you don’t know how a team is going to come together until their feet hit the turf.
