The Chicago Bears are faced with a tough decision ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft.
They have the No. 1 overall pick, which many believe the team will use on a quarterback, likely Caleb Williams.
While the team might already have its mind made up on who they will take with the first pick, they will have to turn around and make another big decision with the No. 9 overall pick.
Several analysts have given their predictions and hope for this selection, including NFC North reporter Carmen Vitali, who recently appeared on the Up and Adams Show to highlight her favorite mocked pick for the Bears.
Vitali said the Bears should take “Georgia tight end, Brock Bowers,” adding, “Shane Waldron’s offense is predicated on using multiple tight end sets to set up play action.”

Waldron has been the offensive coordinator of the Seattle Seahawks for the last three seasons and has now joined the Bears’ staff.
Being connected to a rookie quarterback can be a fun challenge for a coordinator, especially if the Bears end up drafting Williams.
Williams is one of the most highly-touted quarterbacks in recent history, and he could turn the Bears into legitimate contenders if the team surrounds him with the right pieces.
Bowers could make a difference for him early on, and as Vitali indicated, Waldron likes to run two tight end sets.
He could be a great pairing with Cole Kmet throughout the course of the season, and since Bowers is a well-established pass-catcher, this could be a match made in heaven for all parties involved.
