The Las Vegas Raiders currently have the No. 13 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
And while some expect them to be engaged in talks to trade up and get a new quarterback, that might not be the case.
With that in mind, PFF asked the fans which player they would like the Raiders to get if they don’t move from No. 13, and a Toledo CB was the clear winner with over 16% of the votes.
That’s not much of a surprise, as he’s currently projected to be the first cornerback off the board, and he’d be a seamless fit for Antonio Pierce’s surging defense.
The Toledo standout wowed scouts at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, running a 4.33 in the 40-yard dash.

Mitchell was ranked first among all cornerbacks at the Combine with a total score of 90, shining with a vertical jump of 38″ and a broad jump of 10-2, also leading all CBs with 20 reps on the bench press.
The Raiders might still have a bigger need for a quarterback at this moment, and Gardner Minshew might not be what they need right now.
But if they can’t enter the top-5 or top-6, Mitchell could definitely be a very solid pick for this team.
