After an incredible performance throughout the 2023 NFL regular season and during the NFL playoffs, the Houston Texans have become one of the best all-around teams in the AFC, with many believing this team could be a legitimate Super Bowl title contender sooner rather than later.
With the Texans realizing that they may be in a championship window, especially with star quarterback C.J. Stroud proving to be the real deal under center last year, Houston has gone all out to improve their roster on both sides of the football.
The team is determined to take advantage of what could be a title-contending squad, which has resulted in the arrival of superstar wide receiver Stefon Diggs and one of the best pass rushers in the game in Danielle Hunter.
With Houston seemingly going all out to be a contender during the 2024 NFL season, the team has had to cut the fat a bit on its roster.
According to ProFootballTalk, the Texans have parted ways with wide receiver Alex Bachman, defensive end Myjai Sanders, and defensive back Josh Thompson.

The Texans aren’t messing around and aren’t wasting time on players that won’t help them get to where they want to go next season, so they’ve made some room and seem prepared for what could be an eventful 2024 NFL Draft on April 25.
It’ll be interesting to see if the moves the Texans have made during this NFL offseason pay off and whether this team can truly be a contender in the AFC next season and beyond.
