The Las Vegas Raiders entered Monday night’s clash as two-point favorites.
Ironically, not many people in Vegas thought they would actually get the win, with most of the tickets siding with the visitors.
Notably, it would be hard to blame anyone thinking the Green Bay Packers would win the game.
On top of the Raiders’ well-documented struggles this season, they had a history of struggling against the Packers, dropping eight straight games to them.
According to SportsCenter, this was actually the first Raiders win over the Packers in the past 36 years.

The Packers and Raiders don’t play in the same division or even the same conference, so it’s not odd to see that they have only played each other eight times in the past 36 years, especially considering the Raiders haven’t exactly been a perennial playoff contender.
But every streak comes to an end, and there was no better time to get over the hump than yesterday, considering Aaron Rodgers was no longer in town.
The Raiders were in desperate need of a win after dropping three straight games.
They got off to a promising start to the season by beating the Denver Broncos, but their offense struggled mightily to put up points on the scoreboard.
Even despite the win, Josh McDaniels’ team has failed to score more than 18 points this season.
They rank 29th in points per game at 15.8, and will need to fare much better when they square off vs. the New England Patriots and their solid defense next Sunday.
