There have been times during Tua Tagovailoa’s young career when the Miami Dolphins look unstoppable.
When he is at 100 percent health and has his ideal pass-catchers to throw to, good things tend to happen to him and this team.
The Dolphins have been a great regular season team lately, but for whatever reason, they haven’t been able to capitalize in the postseason.
Will the team consider moving on from Tagoailoa after the 2024 season if things don’t change?
Collin Cowherd seems to think so, as he relayed in a recent edition of The Volume Sports.
“I think Tua’s going to be on the market next year,” Cowherd said, adding, “You can’t pay Tua.”

Cowherd indicated that Tagovailoa might not be the guy to bring the Dolphins to a Super Bowl, especially since he is looking to get an extension after his rookie contract.
Having quarterbacks on rookie contracts can help teams in a big way, as they are not limited to signing other positions to massive deals.
The Dolphins wouldn’t have this level of flexibility if they gave Tagovailoa a big deal, which could hinder their ability to make it to and ultimately win the big game.
With that in mind, it’ll be interesting to see what happens with the Dolphins moving forward, especially if the team does make this claim a reality.
They would potentially need to start over with another young quarterback, one that has a better chance of getting another Super Bowl ring for the organization in the near future.
