The Baltimore Ravens were without a doubt one of the best all-around teams in the NFL during the 2023 campaign, with superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson looking like the best player in the league, resulting in him winning NFL MVP for the second time in his playing career.
Even though the Ravens looked like the team to beat heading into the NFL playoffs, Baltimore fell flat in epic fashion against the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game, as Jackson and company didn’t stand a chance against Andy Reid’s squad.
With the Ravens failing to live up to expectations in the playoffs, the team has to go back to the drawing board during this NFL offseason to see where things went wrong and how to correct them while capitalizing on this championship window in Baltimore moving forward.
Jackson was highly criticized for his play in the AFC Championship Game, as he seemed to be scared of the moment and unable to rely on one of his biggest strengths, which is running the football when needed.
Chris Broussard of FOX Sports believes that Jackson can only quiet his critics by winning a Super Bowl, via “First Things First.”
“He needs to win a Super Bowl,” Broussard said. “Not just reach it. Win it.”

At this point, Jackson likely needs to win a title to prove his worth as one of the best quarterbacks in the league and add to his legacy.
However, it is uncertain if he’ll be able to get over the hump in the playoffs if he continues to shrink when the lights are the brightest in the NFL.
