Earlier this week, seven-time Super Bowl champion and future Hall of Famer Tom Brady dropped a bombshell by admitting that he would listen to certain NFL teams if they came calling to lure him out of retirement.
Among the teams Brady mentioned as teams he’d listen to if they came calling is the team he won six titles with, as he named the New England Patriots as a team he’d take a call from in terms of playing again and unretiring.
Other teams mentioned are the Las Vegas Raiders and San Francisco 49ers, but the Patriots being mentioned struck a chord, especially with the team recently parting ways with legendary head coach Bill Belichick and the recent controversial documentary about the storied franchise.
One player in the NFL who didn’t seem to be all that fond of Brady’s talk about returning to the Patriots is veteran quarterback Jacoby Brissett, who recently returned to New England to presumably be the starter while the team develops a rookie quarterback behind him.
Brissett made an interesting comment on the Instagram post shared below about Brady potentially unretiring, via Savage Sports on Twitter.
“Nope. Not liking this post!” he commented.

At this point in time, there’s no telling how serious Brady was about playing again and if he’d really give unretiring some serious thought if he got the opportunity to do so with the Patriots, Raiders, or 49ers.
In the meantime, the speculation will continue about Brady’s future and whether that itch to play again continues to make him rethink his immediate future off the field.
