Last season, the Cleveland Browns had high hopes of finally being able to become a legitimate Super Bowl title contender in the AFC, as they had star quarterback Deshaun Watson back healthy to start the season.
Unfortunately, disaster struck early and often for the Browns during the 2023 campaign, with star running back Nick Chubb going down in Week 2 with a season-ending knee injury, followed by Watson suffering a season-ending shoulder injury a few weeks later.
Even though the team had to finish out the rest of the 2023 NFL season without their two best players on the offensive side of the football, Cleveland was still able to win 11 games and punch their ticket to the NFL playoffs.
However, the team flamed out in the first round of the postseason, with the upstart Houston Texans, led by rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud, getting the best of them.
With the Browns potentially in a championship window moving forward, Cleveland may have something up its sleeve heading into the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft, with the team trading tackle Leroy Watson IV to the Tennessee Titans in exchange for a seventh-round draft pick this year.

There’s a chance the Browns might be looking to compile picks in this year’s draft to trade up for some top-tier talent or were intrigued with the prospect of trading Watson for another pick in the draft.
It’ll be interesting to see what the Browns do in the upcoming draft and what positions the team prioritizes in order to improve their football team moving forward.
